Critical Thinking Challenge Research Paper
Task:
Write a 500+ word proposal on what topic you would like to pursue for your research topic.
This should be in 3rd person
It should follow MLA formatting
A Proposal should have a section answering each of the following sections:
Intro
What do I want to study about society and monsters?
Why is the topic important to society or your peers?
Background
Write a synthesis paragraph of 3-5 articles that tell us about the topic and what perspectives exist on the topic.
Approach
Who is your target audience?
What types of sources/research will you focus on
What type of medium will you use: paper, presentation, website, etc.
Pitch
What problems will your research project solve?
What will it add to the conversation on the topic?
How does it build upon [and hopefully go beyond] research already conducted on the topic?
