What makes this organization one of the best in the industry? How does this training empower, motivate, and educate its employees? How can another organization implement this practice?
In the past students have written on sports teams, auto manufacturers, and on-line retailers. Any organization is fine for this assignment as long as the organization has an organizational “best practice”. The “best practice” can be in designing employee rewards, providing feedback, or developing organizational culture. Any “best practice” related to Organizational Behavior will work for this assignment.
Steps to complete this assignment:
1) Identify the organization, its mission and vision, location and current top leadership. You may use the company website or the library databases to find this information.
2) Discuss the organizational best practice or practices. Use references from the books and articles published on the company. Cite at least 4 library sources in this section. Click on the Library Resources tab in Canvas for easy access to relevant search engines to find articles on your company or best practices in general.
3) Link the best practice to concepts we have covered in this course. Cite the textbooks in this section of the paper. (McShane & Von Glinow and/or HBR 10 Must Reads on Managing People and/or StrengthsFinder 2.0)
4) Identify how another organization could learn from the organization you have written about and adopt this best practice(s) you identified. What are the limitations of adopting this best practice in another organization? Is there anything unique about the organization you wrote about that would make it difficult for another organization to replicate this best practice?
