Assessment of decarbonization possibilities for offshore oil and gas platforms using the EnergyPL

The contents of the thesis has to look like this:
1. Abstract – short summary, 1/2 page; write it at the end!
2. Introduction
a. Literature review on the topic (oil and gas exploration)
b. Superstructure diagram for oil& gas platform
c. Current situation in Italy and Croatia: primary energy supply and final consumption of energy (Eurostat)
d. Problem formulation: this thesis presents possibilities for decarbonization of oil&gas platforms… integration of renewables, solving problem with intermittency and techno-economic analysis.
e. Conversion of wave energy into power
f. Conversion of wind energy into power
3. Materials & Methods (alternatively: Methodology) – there cannot be mixing between methodology and results!; methodology has to have a general character
a. Preprocessing for EnergyPLAN – creating denamd curves for heat and electricity
b. Balancing heat and electricity with EnergyPLAN
c. Economic analysis of decarbonization possibilities – NPV/IRR
4. Case study for North Adriatic sea
a. Short description
b. Input data in the form of table
c. Different scenarios in the form of data (BAU, Moderate decarbonization, Advanced decarbonization)
5. Analysis of results – specific for Your case study!
a. First results (batch run of EnergyPLAN) ???
b. Time series of energy flows (heat and electricity)
c. Economic analysis – NPV/IRR
