Writing Assignment Details:

The field of psychology is very broad. There are many concepts, diagnoses, and theories that can be addressed in application. In the text, Batman and Psychology: A Dark and Stormy Knight, the authors outline characters and background information that can be used to a create client profile. Combining psychological theory with psychological research the text examines the complexities of Gotham city and it’s fictional citizens. You will be creating a case study, identifying as the treating clinician using related information from the assigned textbooks.

Your goal in this paper is to:

Choose from the list of characters and psychological concepts, diagnoses, and theories on Page 6 of your syllabus.
Write 5 – 7 pages on the character of choice.
In the paper, make sure you 1) identify the client specifying their background and perceived diagnosis (if applicable) or related concept/theory 2) discuss the in depth the perceived diagnosis (if applicable) or related concept/theory including relevant research and 3) describe the type of treatment you would provide as the clinician and the setting. (4) Summarize your paper by identifying the prognosis of your client and the fictional outcome that occurred based on the treatment route selected.
Ensure that you define all concepts, theories, principles, and/or terms presented.
Make sure you provide at least 5 references and properly include citations in text and a reference page at the end of your paper for all terms you define.
