Create an APA formatted paper (no abstract required) addressing the three parts outlined below:

Part One: Organizational Analysis

Think about new initiatives, opportunities for improvement, ways to serve students that your current organization is missing. What is keeping your institution from adapting? Explain: identify the area(s) that you see missing in your organization and analyze why your institution has not adapted or made changes for the better.

Part Two: Restructuring

Restructuring Analysis:

“Instead of you transforming the structure, the structure transforms you” (Bolman & Gallos, 2017, p. 84).

Analyze your current organization. Reflect on the objectives set for your institution, what has been achieved, what are the shortcomings, why? Congratulations – you have just been promoted to the administrator role of your organization (Vice President of Instruction, Vice President for Student Affairs, Principal, Director of -, Superintendent, President, etc. ). Analyze the following:

What objectives are you setting for the organization?
Outline the statement of scope.
What are your institution’s competitive advantages?
Complete a gap versus overlap analysis of your institution (page 73).

Now redesign your organization’s current structure (if you are currently not employed design an organizational structure). In order to redesign a structure you must analyze all elements above to ensure you are establishing the most effective structure for meeting your objectives. Provide a graphic to show the actual structure (you can list job titles, not names of people). Then explain how this structure will serve your objectives most effectively.

Part Three: Configuring Teams

Thinking about your initiatives outlined in previous portions of the assignment, create a team to help you achieve one of your institutional objectives. Provide a summary of what the team is tasked with, identify what positions (titles/roles) are assigned to the team, design a team structure, and explain communication protocal. Chapter Five in the Bolman and Deal text provides some fundamental team configurations, but you are not limited to these designs. Illustrate the configuration you are implementing to achieve your objective and then explain why you selected this configuration (What are the benefits? What are the challenges)
