Assignment:
Work– family conflict is an important topic in I/O psychology and an important issue for organizations and their employees alike. For this assignment, you will discuss the salient points regarding the Family-Work Balance. Such as issues related to workplace stress and strain and ways to decrease these within the workplace. Ways to create environments at work that increase the employee’s sense of well-being. In addition, discuss ways in which businesses and organization are creating in-house programs to reduce the family-work conflict and to reduce stress and strain among employees.
Incorporate the information presented in the article, “12 Key Strategies for Achieving Home Life Balance

Step 1: Interview
Your task is to complete the following:
• Create 10 open-ended interview questions that are directly related to workplace stress, workplace violence and, conflict between work and family you will answer these questions pretending to be a manager-level employee at another job.
• Your objective is find out how the other company address the balance between work, life, and family.
• Seek out information from the interviewee regarding:
o What systems are in place to help people cope with stress?
o How does the company support work-family balance? Provide examples, no matter how small.
o What strategies could be implemented to improve these issues?

Step 2: Essay
Your task is to analyze what you have learned from your interview and your research this week to write an essay to include:
• Key points from the interview.
• Tie what you have learned from the interview into the paper.

Your essay should be 1650 words and should include at least three (3) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment
