Then, familiarize yourself with the virtual tour and artifacts links.

After reviewing these resources, please answer the following questions:

1: Archaeology is very multidisciplinary, drawing from fields such as geology, soil science, chemistry and more. Please review the virtual tour of the site and select and describe at least two instances of this type of multidisciplinary collaboration. Be sure to note the Location (e.g Grid _ _), the type of analysis conducted and what the analysis is, and how that analysis contributed to a greater understanding of the archaeological site.

2: Based on the virtual tour, the artifacts found at the site, and the historic and modern timelines describe what archaeologists believe is the function of the Miami Circle in prehistoric times.

3: Using the virtual tour of the site and the associated site photographs, describe what the Miami Circle structure would have looked like in prehistoric times? What evidence did archaeologists use (note the grid number) to make these interpretations?

4: How did archaeologists estimate when the site was occupied? What is the best estimate on the date of the Miami Circle? Which artifacts and/or techniques did archaeologists rely on to make this interpretation?

5: What do the artifacts tell us about prehistoric interactions (trade and communication) during the time of the Miami Circle? Be specific (use the artifacts section!).
