Carefully review the research described in the article by Barak Ariel and his colleagues titled “Wearing body cameras increases assaults against officers and does not reduce police use of force: Results from a global multi-site experiment.” This article is included separately in Module #2. Find two other empirical studies evaluating the effects of the police use of body cameras using the SSU library data bases. “Empirical” means that they involve the collection and analysis of survey, experimental or other types of data- they are not purely theoretical articles about body cams. Please specify which data base(s) you used and analyze in which respects the methodologies employed in these studies and the conclusions they reached were similar to or different from those in the “Wearing body cameras increases assaults against officers and does not reduce police use of force” article. Of the three studies, which do you think is the best and why?

Suggest two improvements that could be made in any aspect of this study’s methodology, for future research in the area, that would clarify one or more of the questions raised in the “Results” or the “Discussion” sections.
