Rules in Writing the Essay
The Title: should draw in the reader and reflex the paper (usually created at the end of the paper)
The introduction should be anecdotal and this story is about you being a doctor and you have a patient with the disease that you selected. Please indicate signs and symptoms and include the purpose (or a thesis statement) of your essay.

Define how negative feedback and positive feedback systems work for your disease. Provide a written example for both feedback control systems. What are the sensory receptors, control center and effector for your disease?

Introduction (0-12 points) – The introduction should be a good paragraph. In this paragraph, the goal is to get the reader interested in what he/she is reading (could include a mini-thesis statement) and to let the person know what is the purpose of the paper.1,2

Body (0-24 points)-The body of this paper should contain answered questions 1-4 (see above) sentences or paragraphs from the strongest to the least strong argument.2
Conclusion (0-12 points)-The conclusion should parallel or pattern after the introduction (however, do not duplicate). It could include a summary of the main points indicated in the body. Also, include a final statement that indicates the close of the paper.2
Literature Cited Page should be included for assignments that require a source or sources (if not indicated points will be lost). Separate From the Paper and is Very Important-Suggested format is MLA in the cited page but if you do not use it please be consistent with whatever format you use. If websites are used they should only be a professional or educational website. For example, www.cdc.gov is a professional website.
