Minority Treatment by Law Enforcement
Your final in this class will be the composition of a 10 page research paper. At the beginning of
the semester, you will select/be assigned a criminal justice related topic to research.
Throughout the semester we will work on composing various portions of the final paper
through activities and assignments.
This paper should include:
1. An APA title page
2. An introduction
3. A body section that follows APA Guidelines (with the use of headings and subheadings)
1. The topics given are somewhat broad; therefore, students have the freedom to explore
any aspect of that topic they desire. If you have questions or need suggestions on
which avenues to explore, then please contact me.

5. References
This paper should be written in APA format. The paper should report objective facts and
employ the use of clear and concise writing. The use of APA in-text citations are vital. Students
must have minimum of 20 sources (at least 10 empirical sources) in their paper.
